Eliquis

Description

Eliquis is a direct-acting anticoagulant – a selective inhibitor of blood coagulation factor Xa. It is used for the prevention of venous thromboembolism in patients after planned hip or knee replacement, as well as for the prevention of strokes, systemic thromboembolism and reduction of mortality in patients with atrial fibrillation.
