Linezo Avenir

Description

Linezolid (Linezo avenir) is a synthetic antibiotic used to treat severe infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotics. A member of the oxalidinone class, linezolid is active against most gram-positive bacteria that cause disease, including vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus streptococci and Staphylococcus aureus. The main indications for linezolid are infectious diseases of the skin and soft tissues, as well as pneumonia.
