Description

Tablets Metformin (Metformin) (Glucophage) 850 mg – a medicine to compensate for type 2 diabetes mellitus. Indicated for patients who are also overweight or obese. The use of Metformin leads to a decrease in triglyceride and LDL levels, and also reduces the risk of developing cardiovascular complications. It is also possible to use the drug for the treatment of gestational diabetes (diabetes during pregnancy) and PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). The medicine is on the WHO list of essential medicines.
