Yervoy is a drug for the treatment of melanoma, certain forms of lung cancer and prostate cancer. The main active ingredient of the drug is ipilimumab (ipilimumab), which activates the immune system.
The drug is used to treat metastatic inoperable melanoma, as well as to prevent recurrence of the disease after the removal of lymph nodes containing a cancerous tumor. An important feature of the drug is that it can be used to treat progressive melanoma.
