Kayexalate

Description

Kayexalate is intended for the correction of potassium in the body.
Powder for preparing a suspension. Sodium polystyrene sulfonate (kayexalate) removes potassium from the body. It works fastest when administered via enema, but is also effective when taken! Indicated for hyperkalemia. Often useful in renal failure, especially in hemodialysis patients.
