Description

Ixiaro vaccination against Japanese encephalitis is recommended for persons moving to an endemic country for residence, long-term (1 month or longer) travel, and those who frequently visit endemic areas or spend long periods of time outdoors in the wild. The vaccine should also be considered for short-term (less than 1 month) high-risk travelers based on planned trip duration, season, location, activities, and accommodations.
